Conclusion

In conclusion, Martin Luther King was an amazing leader. The campaign he lead effected the world and is still in place today. Martin Luther had alot of respect and he used that to help give people the equal rights they should have. He was an extremely charismatic leader who stuck to his beliefs through everything and showed brilliant strength of character throughout his life. He was a leader everyone could understand and an influence to many people world-wide. His achievements he made during his life time before his death in 1968 were great and he is still honoured in the world today as one of the greatest leaders of all time.

How others view Martin Luther King

Now:

Martin Luther King is known today as a hero. He is known as a hero because of the stand he took for black peoples rights and the fact that if he had not taken a stand we may still misunderstand the rights of all people, black or white. He is extremely honored and is regarded with awe and devotion.

Then:

Back then Martin Luther King was viewed in many different ways. Most black people looked up to him and were inspired by him. They loved him and what he was doing for them. Although he had huge support of most black people some people did not like him. It was mostly the white people. They were all happy with the way things were and thought they were much better than the black people. Gradually though more and more people started to like him and he became a great man to most.

Key Events which showed Martin Luther King's Leadership style

A major key event which showed Martin Luther's leadership style was on June 23, 1963 at the Freedom Walk in Detroit, where he presented his 'I have a dream speech.' This showed he was a strong and charismatic leader and he showed incredible strength of character.
Another key event which highlighted Martin Luther's leadership was in 1958, when he was stabbed and nearly died on a speaking tour. This incident carved his leadership style and made Martin Luther an extremely resilient leader as, instead of stepping down from what he believed in, he kept goingand recovered.

How did he influence others lives?

Martin Luther King's life influenced others in many different ways. A big influence was that he fought courageously for equality between races. He fought for this harder than anyone had before. He helped people realise that no matter what you looked like, everyone had the right to be treated fairly and as equals. Martin Luther Kings legacy still lives on and the difference he made has shaped the way we are living today.If it were not for him, we may not have the Civil Rights we have today.

Attributes of Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King had many great attributes. He was a great man and great leader. It is said that he was not afraid to face up to people. Martin Luther King had a good nature and was extremely generous. He was a wise, brave and caring man. He was great at handling all sorts of different situations. Martin Luther was an inspiration to all and a determined man. His determination is shown alot during his campaign for racial rights.
